BHP Olympic dam takes another step forward in this huge project. Over 6 years, a teeming fleet of trucks and shovels will need to scour a layer of dirt 350m deep from a pit around 4km long and 3.5kms wide. Only in year 7, and after the expenditure of around $15B, will BHP start open cut mining, lifting copper production from today’s level of around 180,000tpa in stages to 750,000tpa. In addition to the massive pit, BHP will spend billions on a large desalination plant at Port Bonython, an extended airport and rail and power infrastructure. The company will also pour funds into processing plant additions with expenditure earmarked for a new concentrator and hydrometallurgical plant. It is believed the total expansion cost at US$27.4B. The BHP board is expected to make a final decision on whether the project will go ahead in mid-2012..
Sales Tips
How do you overcome objections – welcome them as questions not objections. You prospects are say ” I am interested but not convinced I should choose you and your solution as yet – convince me more”
Did you know you can engage with someone without having any objections, they buy from you because of the way you have engaged with them, this is something we train on. T= C+R+I/Y ask me what this means.
